Comparisons between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi seemed never-ending. Two players mainstay Real Madrid and Barcelona was regarded as the best player on earth today.
Former retainer of Real Madrid, Guti, acknowledges the greatness and the important role Cristiano Ronaldo at the Santiago Bernabeu today. But, he feels CR7 Ronaldo or Lionel Messi is still less than the brilliance of the big matches.
In past competitions, Ronaldo posted a season record of 40 goals in La Liga, but he was 'only' able to contribute to the Copa del Rey title, and must be willing to see Barca triumph in domestic league and Champions League.
"He's a great player and have determined in many games," Guti's comments about Ronaldo told Goal.com.
Even so, that happened in the match-game of the Ronaldo failed to give good results, something that can be done to Barcelona's Lionel Messi. "Players are their true star that shines in big moments," he added.
Guti also assess the Catalan team is currently still on Madrid. In addition, he was disappointed with the lack of true native of Los Merengues target product in the squad now.
