This weekend at the Sachsenring circuit, Valentino Rossi will record a new history of his career in motor racing arena. The reason is, "The Doctor" will do the race to 250 for all classes that already they do.
Until she had an accident and broke his leg in practice last year's Italian GP, Rossi has a record 230 races without a break. And until recently, winning seven world titles MotoGP has reached 249.
Thus, this Ducati rider will be the sixth person who made it to the races to-250. He was in the back of an Italian compatriot Loris Capirossi, who was in the top position, followed by Alex Barros, Jack Findlay, Angel Nieto and Bruno Kneubuhler.
Rossi made his debut in the 125cc class in 1996 at the Circuit Brno, Czech Republic. At that time, he started from 11th position. Since then, victory after victory were achieved, so the former Honda and Yamaha rider has collected nine world titles.
Unfortunately, its performance in the 2011 season in his debut with Ducati is not too encouraging. Since the first series until the eighth, Rossi has never won.
