Saudi Arabia ready to operate the largest four-faced clock in the world of Islam in the Holy City of Mecca. This clock has a high six times Big Ben English. The tower was designed by German engineers and Swiss will have a height of 600 meters where high six times the height of Big Ben in England.The front of this clock will be decorated with mosaics made of glass and carbon fiber, a material that is very strong and are used in aerospace and other technologies.
The clock tower is part of the Abraj Al-Bait hotel and residential complex built by the Saudi Bin Laden construction group.
Two main clock face has an area of 43 square meters. Visitors can stand on the terrace under the clock to see the sights of the city.
This clock will officially operate in mid-August to mark the first day of Ramadan, the month of fasting from sunrise to sunset for Muslims around the world.
