Russia has launched, the so-called experts, the most powerful space telescope and the largest ever made.
Russian scientists say Spektr-R was launched from Kazakhstan on Monday (18 / 7) and shortly thereafter, began orbiting the earth.
Spektr-R maker said the telescope was designed to look billions of light years away in an attempt to reveal the mysteries of the universe.
Leader Vladimir Bobyshkin scientists say we are on Earth knew little of what surrounds the planet and the sun. He said although it sounds like a fantasy, he sure can not be just us on planet Earth who live in the universe.
Bobyshkin said the pictures that we get through the telescope it will definitely expand human knowledge and start a revolution in astrophysics when a phenomenon like 'Black Hole' (the Black Hole) and the Dark Matter can be observed.
Scientists are expected to release the pictures first before the end of this year.
