Why Marco Simoncelli helmet off?

Why Marco Simoncelli helmet off?

AP Photo/Dorna Sports

INFO22 - If you see video footage or photographs of deadly accidents that befall rider Marco Simoncelli, Colin Edwards and Valentino Rossi, will inevitably the question arises: Why are helmets worn Simoncelli (24) can be separated from his head?
Definitive answer has not been found because until now the MotoGP organizers still do a thorough investigation of the incident.
"I could have answered your question next time. But certainly we assert that a thorough investigation of this incident will soon be done," said Paul Butler, Directors of the MotoGP race during a press conference with the other Directors of MotoGP after the accident occurred on Sunday (23 / 10) in Malaysia.
MotoGP party does not want to suppose the cause of the release Simoncelli helmet. The medical team was just to make sure that Simoncelli suffered serious injuries in the head, neck and chest.
If you see from the video footage or photos carefully when Simoncelli run over, was difficult to ascertain why the type of helmet brands AGV GP-Tech's San Carlo Gresini Honda rider could fall off.
Simoncelli might not associate or attach a safety helmet straps under the neck. But as an experienced and professional drivers, so little chance Simoncelli careless.
Moreover, before the MotoGP race begins, checks and strict supervision and inspection conducted by a crew race is very tight and precise.
Or because of the strong effect of collision or impact the tire to the body that makes Simoncelli helmet off and bounce? Maybe.
MotoGP penyelanggara investigation about the cause of the collision and release of highly anticipated Simoncelli helmet. From the results of investigations can be found the cause - for a solution found.
This solution will be very beneficial for manufacturers helmet MotoGP rider, to make the helmet more safe, comfortable and sturdy. Although helmets are worn by MotoGP racers use carbon kevlar materials and modern technology, the chances of defects could have occurred.
Technology in the protective bubble of the drivers racing suit is also a good idea immediately applied. With the balloon protector, drivers can avoid collisions or tremendous pressure as they fall.
We all certainly hope the deadly accident that occurred in Malaysia to be the last.

GTA V trailer coming soon

GTA V trailer coming soon

Finally. FI-NA-LLY! Rockstar have confirmed what we all knew - GTA V is in development and even better, there's a reveal trailer due to hit on November 2nd.
The excitement levels in GamesRadar UK Towers is palpable. There are fist-pumps, two 'whoops' and a claim of some sex wee creeping out - all of this over a bloody logo. But that's what a new Grand Theft Auto can do to a completely sane person.

What does the logo suggest? Well, the first guess is money. The green of the V and the font of the Five means the next game will be all about the Benjamins. This is obvious as all GTAs are like this though, right?
We're not saying that Rockstar definitely read our GTA V feature from last week and now have the final pieces of their next game in place thanks to the genius ideas of GRUK but it is a rather large coincidence. Maybe.
So what say you? What does that logo say to you? Let us know in the comments below. We're off for a lie down.

Black Eyed Peas' Central Park Concert

Black Eyed Peas' Central Park Concert

Thursday's severe thunderstorms first delayed and then canceled a free Black Eyed Peas concert at Central Park.
Although concert organizers let people onto the Great Lawn after hours of waiting and delays due to severe thunderstorms, they evacuated the area once the storms continued.
An estimated 54,000 people received free tickets and another 6,000 paid for their tickets.
The show was originally scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. It was pushed back to 8:30 p.m. before an announcement was finally made around 8:15 p.m. to cancel it altogether.
"I'm very upset right now. We were here since 3 o'clock, we had to stand through the heat, we had to stand through the rain. I understand about the severe weather, but I would've loved to have seen the Black Eyed Peas perform tonight," said a ticketholder.
"The least the Black Eyed Peas could've done was come out, performed at least one song and left," said another. "'Thank you guys for coming out, showing your support, you got wet.' My feet are wet. They could've done one song."
"You know what? They're scared of a little rain and thunder? Diana Ross did it in the rain and thunder, that's all I have to say," said a third.
The concert, which was to benefit the Robn Hood Foundation, was also supposed to feature performances by LL Cool J, MC Hammer and Taylor Swift.
By late Thursday, no makeup date had been announced.
Anwar al-Awlaki killed terrorism in Yemen

Anwar al-Awlaki killed terrorism in Yemen

Yemen's defence ministry has reported that Anwar al-Awlaki, a well-known and controversial imam with alleged ties to al-Qaeda, was killed along with four others.
A government statement released to the media on Friday said Awlaki was hunted down by Yemeni forces, but did not elaborate on the circumstances of his death. He was wanted by both the US and Yemen.
"The terrorist Anwar al-Awlaki has been killed along with some of his companions," the statement sent by text message to journalists said.
The 40-year-old US-born Awlaki, a dual Yemeni-American citizen, was a father of five. Among those that were killed with him was the co-editor of al-Qaeda's Inspire magazine, Samir Khan, a US citizen of Pakistani origin.

Khan was a specialist in computer programming and was also wanted by the Yemeni government and the US.
Two vehicles hit
Tribal sources told the AFP news agency that Awlaki was killed early on Friday in an air raid that hit two vehicles travelling through an al-Qaeda stronghold in central Yemen.
Government officials say he was targeted 8km from the town of Khashef in the province of al-Jawf, just 140km from Sanaa, the capital.

Barack Obama said the killing of Awlaki was a "significant milestone in the broader effort to defeat al-Qaeda and its affiliates".

Gregory Johnsen, a Yemen analyst from Princeton University, discusses Anwar al-Awlaki's killing

Speaking in Virginia on Friday, the US president described the killing as a tribute to the US intelligence community.

"Awlaki repeatedly called on individuals in the United States and around the globe to kill innocent men, women and children to advance a murderous agenda," he said.
While holding Awlaki "directly responsible" for the deaths of many Yemeni citizens, Obama cautioned that Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) was still dangerous although it remained a "weakened" outfit.
A senior White House official had earlier confirmed the death of Awlaki.

The news came amid unrest in the impoverished Arabian Peninsula country, where protesters have staged protests since February demanding the resignation of Ali Abdullah Saleh, the country's president since 1978.

The aircraft that carried out the deadly attack was probably American, according to tribal sources, who said  US aircraft had been patrolling the skies over Marib, a central Yemeni province, for the past several days.
The tribal sources also said Awlaki had relocated from the nearby Shabwa region about three weeks ago.
A US drone aircraft targeted but missed Alwaki in May, and the Yemeni defence ministry had previously announced Awlaki's death late last year.

Targeted by drones
On December 24, the Yemeni government said he had been killed in an air attack, only to admit later that he was still alive.
"He has been a target of US drones at least three times," Hakim al-Masmari, editor-in-chief of the Yemeni Post, told Al Jazeera.
"The Yemeni government will face a lot of criticism, especially in the south, for allowing US drones to attack Yemeni civilians. But it will not be a blow to Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula from any perspective. We don't feel they will suffer, because [Awlaki] did not have any real role in [AQAP]."
US officials said Awlaki spread al-Qaeda's message via a blog, social-media posts and email exchanges.

Theodore Karasik, a Dubai-based Gulf security analyst, comments on Awlaki's killing in Yemen

"Mr Awlaki is a problem," John Brennan, Obama's counterterrorism adviser, said in January 2010.
"He's clearly a part of Al-Qaeda in [the] Arabian Peninsula. He's not just a cleric."

Brennan directly accused Awlaki of having links with Major Nidal Hasan, who is suspected of shooting dead 13 people at Fort Hood military base in Texas in November 2009, and who is set to face trial in a military court on March 5, 2012.
Faisal Shahzad, a Pakistani-American who pleaded guilty to the May 2010 Times Square failed car-bombing attempt, told interrogators he was "inspired'' by Awlaki after making contact over the internet.
Awlaki may also have had contact with Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the Nigerian student accused of trying to blow up a Detroit-bound Christmas Day aircraft in 2009, Brennan said.
Obama had accused the AQAP of arming and training Abdulmutallab and said the group was also responsible for the October 2010 parcel bomb plot that originated in Yemen.
Two parcels addressed to Jewish institutions in Chicago - containing the explosive PETN hidden in ink toner cartridges - were found to have been freighted from Sanaa on commercial airlines.

Freeze of assets
In July 2010, Obama's administration placed Awlaki on its list of terrorism supporters, freezing his financial assets and banning any transactions with him.

In a video posted on websites last May by AQAP, Awlaki urged Muslims serving in the US army to follow Hasan's example, and also defended Abdulmutallab.
Ameen al-Himyari, a Yemen analyst and professor at Qatar university, told Al Jazeera "terrorism is a phenomenon that needs to be studied" and that killing ring leaders would not solve the problem.

"We need to know what the reasons [for terrorism] are. Now we've killed the most wanted person in the world, [but] tomorrow we're going to have the most wanted person in the world. So what's the end? We need to find a solution," he said.

He also said Awlaki's death could make it hard for Saleh to cling to power.

"The regime is going to lose one of its scarecrows," he said. "Now if al-Qaeda is weakened in Yemen, what's he [Saleh] going to say for the West? Support me for what?"
The US and Saudi Arabia, Yemeni's neighbour to the north, have backed Saleh's government to fight al-Qaeda's cells in the country's south. But they have also been urging him to step down under a deal brokered by the six-nation Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC), which offers him as well as his family immunity from prosecution.

Saleh has backed out of the deal on three occasions and has said he will not step down if his former allies-turned-rivals are allowed to run in future elections.

TOKYO : Copilot One Button, Passenger Aircraft Flying Reversed

A plane owned airline All Nippon Airways, Japan, protected from harm when flying dive and almost upside down, the Japanese Transport Ministry said on Wednesday (28/09/2011).

The Boeing 737-700 was carrying 117 passengers and crew when flying from Shizuoka on September 6. The plane had dived and almost upside down for 30 seconds.

The incident occurred after the co-pilot, one presses the button to open the door of the cockpit for the pilot who had just returned from the toilet.

The plane, which took off from Naha on Okinawa Island in the south, then successfully landed at Haneda Airport, Tokyo, safely.

Two cabin crew suffered minor injuries in the incident, while the four passengers reportedly suffered health problems.

Picture of the Boeing 737-700 flight recorder showed the plane turned right and then turned sharply to the left.

The plane was tilted more than 130 degrees to the left at one point, but the darkness outside makes a lot of passengers who do not realize that the plane they were traveling almost reversed.

"The pictures are amazing. The plane was flying in an unimaginable position," said a pilot told NHK television after the tape was aired to the public.

A senior official told ANA passengers tourists at a press conference on Wednesday said, "We are very sorry for causing anxiety to our passengers," he said.

Japan Transportation Safety Board are investigating the incident.
Four Suspected Terrorists Detained in Sweden

Four Suspected Terrorists Detained in Sweden

Swedish Secret Police Office (Sapo) to evacuate a center for arts and detained four people suspected of preparing terror attack in Goteborg, Sweden's second largest city, Sunday (09/11/2011). The arrests came as the U.S. and other countries in the world prepared to commemorate 10 years of terror attacks 9 / 11.
Gothenburg police say they have evacuated an art gallery in Gothenburg, early Sunday morning, the risk associated with the threat of "endangering the life, health, and serious damage to property". The police did not give further details except to say they have arrested four suspects helped Sapo.
Stefan Johansson Sapo spokesperson confirmed that four suspects have been detained in Goteborg, western Sweden, on suspicion of planning terrorism. However, Johansson also declined to give further details, including the identities of the suspects.
Head of art galleries Roda Sten in Gothenburg, Mia Christersdotter Norman, said that evening about 400 people gathered in the gallery to attend the opening ceremony of the international biennale of contemporary art exhibitions. When the event is underway, the police suddenly called and asked him to disband the event.
"Around midnight I called the police and they said there is a threat to the building (gallery) and ask us to end the party is not striking. We just do it and everyone go home," said Norman Christersdotter told AP news agency.
Police then searched the building, but found no dangerous objects. Christersdotter Norman admitted to not know anything about the arrest of suspected terrorists, and not aware of any threats to the biennale event and to its participants. He added that the gallery will be open again as usual this Sunday afternoon.
A few days ago, the U.S. security authorities also received information of the threat of car bomb terror attacks on the anniversary of 10 years of tragedy 9 / 11. Not yet known whether the arrest in Sweden is related to threats to the U.S..
Sweden raises terror threat level from low to high levels in October 2010. In December, a suicide bomber blew himself named Taimour Abdulwahab in downtown Stockholm, shocking a country that had been considered safe from the threat of terrorism.

Lee's Flood Threat Expands

Lee's Flood Threat Expands

Heavy Rain Forecast

Through Wednesday, the combination of the front and Lee's remnant low will produce a large swath of 6 to 10 inches (yellow shading on map below) of rain from the Deep South to the central Appalachians, with locally higher amounts. A much larger area extending into the Northeast has the potential to see 2 to 6 inches (green shading below).

Heavy rain outlook through Wed.

Timeline

Through Tuesday, soaking rains will spread from the Tennessee Valley into the Appalachians and parts of the Mid-Atlantic region as Lee's remnant low and the front combine.

Patchy areas of locally heavy rain may linger in parts of the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, still saturated from Irene's soaking rain just last weekend.

Below is a look at the timing of the most significant rains each day through Wednesday.

Rain Timing: Tuesday
Rain Timing: Wednesday

Met 101: Why is this happening?

As Lee continues to move inland and weaken, moist tropical air will meet up with a frontal system arriving from the Midwest and Northeast. This is a setup seen time and time again in Eastern floods this time of year.

Ingredients for Eastern flood threat

Two other factors deserve mentioning here. First, this heavy rain will be falling in mountainous terrain, heightening the threat of flooding, even though streamflows have been running low in the southern Appalachians.

Flood watches now extend from the Deep South to Maine. You can see the flood watches in the blue shadings on the map at this link.

Conversely, after a record or near-record wet August, coupled with Irene's heavy rain, the ground in the Northeast is very saturated. Any additional heavy rain will simply runoff into creeks, streams and rivers, not to mention the typical flooding in urban areas.
Flash Flood Watch Sunday PM thru Tuesday AM

Flash Flood Watch Sunday PM thru Tuesday AM

Here’s quick update on the Flash Flood Watch that will begin tonight through Tuesday morning.  The rain from Tropical Storm Lee will continue moving toward us today.  We will pick up a few scattered showers today.  It won’t be an all day continuous rain.  The rain will get heavier and more widespread on Monday.  So the National Weather Service issued this Flash Flood Watch so folks can be prepared for the heavy rain moving in.

The rain amounts will be higher in north and northwest Georgia.  That part of the state could see 5-7″ of rain before it ends mid-week.  Metro Atlanta has the potential to see 3-5 inches of rain today through mid-week.
Today would be a great day to check around your house to make sure all of your downspouts aren’t clogged and are flowing water away from your house.  Since it has been so long since we’ve had heavy rain, there could be debris blocking the flow of water.
I will have a more thorough blog later today.  I just finished the 9am newscast and am heading to Church!
Tropical Storm Lee is finally moving out

Tropical Storm Lee is finally moving out

After hugging the LA coastline all day Saturday, Tropical Storm Lee is finally moving out and heading in our direction. Here are the stats on Lee as of 11 am today: Max winds at around 45mph, pressure is at 986 milibars, and movement is towards the ne at around 3 mph. It appears on the latest satellite that Lee is beginning to really move out in the direction that the NHC and we have been talking about. The motion is apparent on satellite and radar, and he is remaining strong.  This is the latest rainbow IR satellite as of around 1pm today, shows right around the center of circulation some pretty intense convection which is a sign of a strong Tropical storm. Even though Lee is not over the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico, he is in the marshes and bayous of Louisiana which is just a lot of grass and waters with not a lot of friction caused by hills and such. So lee will continue to spin and rain and read in this direction. The unfortunate side of things is that while Lee will be bringing us some very needed rainfall, Lee will also bring the threat for tornadoes. Check out this radar image from the New Orleans site…. Notice all the red boxes? Those are all tornado warnings….. They are in the NE quadrant of Lee, and that is where we will be tomorrow. So if there is a time for possible tornadoes with Lee, it will be in the afternoon hours on LaborDay. If any do happen, they will not be the big f-3 or f-4 tornadoes we see in spring, but a tornado is a tornado right? This slight risk area will most likely be pushed into more of central and north Georgia tomorrow. The next risk comes from flooding, and the NWS has us all under
a flash flood watch in effect until Tuesday. There is a high likelyhood that parts of n. Georgia could see 2-6 inches of rain!!! Not a full blown drought buster, but it is a start. The rain is already moving into the metro Atlanta area and will continue on and off through sometime on late Tuesday or early Wednesday. The HPC (Hydrometeorological Prediction Center) has put out its forecast for rain amounts in the state through Wednesday and it is very impressive…. We could see 3-5 inches of rain in the Atlanta metro area with more to the north. The latest computer models are starting to disagree on where Lee is going to go and how fast he is going to move, so we are going to stick with our original forecast and move Lee out by sometime on Wednesday. We will have another update soon.
8am Update on Tropical Depression Lee

8am Update on Tropical Depression Lee

Lee has been downgraded to a tropical depression as he continues to wind down a bit. As of this morning he had max winds at around  30 mph,  pressure was around 990 millibars, and he was moving ENE at around 6 mph. The NHC has lee slowly moving east today, then starting to take more of a northerly jog a bit later in the time period. My thinking is about the same but I think there is a good chance Lee will move into the mid section of the country over the next few days and stall…Here is the latest on the exact location of Lee. What you are looking at here are pressure lines, notice Lee is essentially right on top of New Orleans moving very slowly. Basically Lee is now moving in its own environment, but getting a little help from the upper winds that are coming in from the NW. They will initially help to pull Lee up in our direction, then, in my own meteorological opinion, those winds will leave Lee behind stuck in an area with very little upper level wind flow. Check out the water vapor satellite imagery from this morning. That dip in the jet stream (trough) is helping to feed the back side of Lee with some dry air and at the same time it is helping to life Lee up and pull him towards N. Georgia. Most computer models

are carrying Lee NE rather rapidly as the trough lifts Lee up, but I am not fully buying it. I think the winds at the jet stream are going to leave Lee behind a bit. All this means for us is that Lee is going to move slowly. Some of the models are thinking the same thing in putting lee into the central US, time will tell. I should have a better handle on it as the day moves along. For today the main thing we will be
watching for today is going to be the amount of rain parts of the state are going to get. This is the 8am radar image and there is a  big batch of heavy rain moving into the western sections of the state. Some of the computer models have us getting up to 9 inches of rain in far north Georgia, with other areas of around 4-5 inches of rain. Parts of Alabama have seen 5 inches, but that is in some very small patches. I think a lot of rain is likely, but not like the floods we had in 2009 by any stretch. The rain should be on and off throughout the day today, and overnight into tomorrow. Not a constant deluge, more like on and off heavy showers. For the severe threat….. it is there for sure as it always is for tropical storms and depressions as they wind down over land. There is a lot of spin in these guys, but as they get further, time-wise, away from landfall their tornado treat goes down. There were 10 tornado reports associated with Lee yesterday, all in Alabama and Florida. We are under a slight risk for severe weather today with brief spin-up type tornadoes being the primary threat. I really think that this will be a flooding event for N. Georgia, not a tornado event, but we will keep monitoring it.
Tornado watch is in effect until 8pm

Tornado watch is in effect until 8pm

Tornado watch is in effect until 8pm for most of central Georgia today into the evening hours. This is not the type of an event that is clear cut as to where tornadoes will form, just know that they are very quick to pop up and go back down. We will be watching all day here at 11Alive for you. The area with the highest risk is going to be western sections of the state.

How To Change Background Blog With Pictures

How To Change Background Blog With Pictures

blog beautiful fruit and nice views would be very helpful in increasing our blog traffic, because I myself was more interested in visiting a blog that bright colors and nice views, rather than a blog that dark color and shape is not known aliases random sacking. Although his post interesting but painful for the eyes, the better I pelototi my blog for hours - hours.

I'll share a few tips that I know about changing the background color of your blog or replace the background with images already uploaded to my friend online storage place, for example in Google Sites or Photobucket.

Here are the steps - steps:

     * Log in to Blogger.
     * Click the Layout -> Edit HTML.
     * Then find the code like this:

       body {background: # FFFFFF;
       margin: 0; color: # 000000;
       font: 12px trebuchet ms;
       text-align: center}

       Or, if confused, please click Ctrl + F then type the body {, usually located above.
     * To replace the background with another color code # FFFFFF only replace with other code, to color code can be found here. Example I replace the background with gray - gray, the result will be as follows:

       body {background: # D8D8D8;
       margin: 0; color: # 000000;
       font: 12px trebuchet ms;
       text-align: justify}
     * To change the background image or picture, such as pictures that I have saved on blogger, its url code like this:

     * So the result becomes as follows:

       body {background: # FFFFFF repeat-x;
       margin: 0; color: # 000000; font: 12px trebuchet ms;
       text-align: justify}
     * If completed then Save Template pal.
